Has your vehicle air-conditioning stopped working?
CoolCar Air-Conditioning Centre workshops frequently receive calls from people whose air-conditioning has stopped working.  Most people believe their air-conditioning has just run out of gas and enquire about getting it re-gassed.

An assessment of their system usually shows there has been a substantial system failure that was caused by or led to the refrigerant and system lubrication escaping.

The problems that occur are almost always due to lack of use or periodic maintenance.

An evaluation of the system allows us to identify the cause of the failure and identify the repairs required for your consideration.

Once your system is operational, we recommend you service your vehicle's air-conditioning every year.  This includes cleaning the condenser of bugs and debris to encourage heat dissipation.  Every second service we recommend replacing the refrigerant and receiver-drier.  Servicing means your system will last longer and operate more efficiently and reliably.

An increasing number of our customers are beginning to recognise the long term benefits of maintaining their air-conditioning just as they would any other mechanical system in their car.
