MAINTAINING YOUR MACHINERY'S A/C
Contrary to popular belief, unless the air-conditioning system in your truck, or tractor is not working as expected; thorough and routine professional servicing, outside of a cabin filter replacement, is unnecessary. If all is working as intended, your vehicle's air-conditioning system is relatively self-sufficient.
However, rural or on-site equipment can get a bit of a thrashing from New Zealand's Great Outdoors, especially in the Waikato. To get the most out of your vehicle's climate control system you can give it a birthday by turning the vehicle off and running the garden hose over the condenser and radiator. Gently washing off any mud or debris. Annually replacing the cabin air filter also does wonders to keep air inside the cabin clear.
